Precinct Caucus Training
On Tuesday, January 29th at 6:30 pm, we will offer training for any Republicans interested in learning how to conduct a caucus. The location for the training will be the Thurston County Courthouse, Building 2, Room 129. The address is 2000 Lakeridge Dr. S.W., Olympia, WA 98502-6045.

Would someone be willing to post a discription of what is involved in participating in a caucus, as well as organizing one? This may be helpful in building interest in participating in the process.
Sorry this is a VERY brief answer, but there are two main functions of the precinct caucus - review the draft party platform and elect delegates for the county convention. Here is the 2006 Platform for a taste of what a platform looks like. We are working on the draft for 2008 and will post it as soon as it is available.
Here are the delegate counts for each precinct. Automatic delegates are in addition to allocated delegates.
